Bodywork promotes a sense of well being and is beneficial to maintain health. Our bodies often reveal the accumulation of emotional and physical stress. Stress contributes to symptoms like headaches, fatigue, and anxiety. Physical therapy, therapeutic massage, Osteopathic manipulation, and other treatment modalities often provide symptom relief. Asheville Gynecology & Wellness can make recommendations and referrals for body workers.
Modern life competes with and interferes with quiet contemplation. We value the health benefits of meditation and contemplative practices. Asheville Gynecology & Wellness provides information and resources to patients regarding contemplative practices that can be incorporated into their lives.
As simple as this sounds, paying attention to our breath can produce profoundly beneficial effects. Patients may be encouraged to practice mindful breathing.
